I am a founding member of Porcuatro since 2004. Our company is dedicated to industrial, interior, and graphic design on the one hand, and art direction and photography on the other.
Since 2006, creative director of Abr Producción Contemporánea, focused on editing design furniture.
I became a designer because it is a very gratifying and challenging career. My light bulb turns on when I get a good briefing. Nevertheless, nothing compares to receiving the first prototypes for a piece, the moment in which the idea that you have been thinking and talking about becomes something real, something physical, tangible?
What do I look for in a lamp? It depends? Atmosphere quality, functionality, a wink, originality? I want my proposals to provide both life and personality at the same time. It?s nice coming home after a hard day and being received by a well-chosen lamp that you will get attached to as you get old.
